Andrew DeLizio

Andrew DeLizio is a registered patent attorney and founding member of DeLizio Law, PLLC. His practice focuses on patenting software-related technologies in the U.S. and abroad. He has expertise in all aspects of patent prosecution including appeals, re-examinations, and re-issues. Additionally, he has experience providing litigation support, validity/infringement analysis, and due diligence investigations. Andrew also has experience assisting in-house counsel in developing patent strategies and harvesting innovative ideas.

Before founding DeLizio Law, PLLC, Andrew worked as an associate attorney for large intellectual property firms in Silicon Valley and the Twin Cities. As an associate, he procured patents for large high-technology companies including Intel, eBay, Silicon Graphics, Cray, SAP, Redback Networks, WMS Gaming, and many others.

Before practicing law, Andrew earned B.S. and M.S. degrees in computer science. His academic training and patent experience give him strong technical expertise in a broad range of software-related technologies including operating systems, microprocessor architecture, real-time systems, networking protocols, programming languages, computerized gaming systems, and computerized commerce systems.
